Custom Wear Notifications – Privacy Policy

Last modified: 29 March 2024

AndyXSoft (“I”, “me”, “my”, “us”, “we”, “our”, the “Service Provider”) is the developer of the Custom Wear Notifications application (the “Service”, the “app”, the “application”). This Service is provided “AS IS”.

This Privacy Policy defines how we collect and use your personal and non-personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. We will comply with the laws applicable to us in respect of any data breach.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Custom Wear Notifications is a freemium app, meaning that it is offered in two versions: a free version and a paid version.

Ads

The free version offers limited functionality compared to the paid version and is Ad-Supported, meaning that it displays advertisements to cover all the production and maintenance costs associated with it. The free version of the app is provided by us at no cost and is intended for use as is.

The paid version of the app, which can be obtained via an in-app purchase called Pro Version, does not display ads, except for a dedicated section available on the Information page, where promotions for our other apps can be found. This dedicated section is also available in the free version.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your personal information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Information Collection and Use

Information we collect falls into one of two categories: voluntarily provided information and automatically collected information. Both categories also fall into other two categories: personal information and non-personal information.

Voluntarily provided information refers to any information you knowingly and actively provide us when using our app and its associated services.

Automatically collected information refers to any information automatically sent by your device when accessing and using our app and its associated services. This type of information includes but is not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Service.

We do not directly collect, or store any personal information through this app, but the third-party service providers that we are using to facilitate this Service may collect or store your personal information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. Also, if you contact us regarding any inquiry about this app and anything about us or our services, we’ll collect and store any information you provided us upon contact, so that we may get back to you and solve your inquiry.

Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the app:

We use Google’s Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics in order to obtain statistics about how our users use the app, and to get crash logs. These logs and statistics help us discover potential issues with the app, improve the app’s quality and understand better what how the app is perceived by the users.

We use AdMob to deliver ads in the free version of the app.

These third parties may require some personal information, like your device ID or IP address in order to perform their services. If you live in a country where consent is required in order to collect these types of personal information, we’ll display a dialog in the app asking you for consent regarding the data collection. If you do not consent to the required data collection, the third parties won’t receive any of your data, but you might also not be able to access all the functionalities offered by the app. You can change your consent at any times through the app.

The payment for the paid version of the app, which can be obtained via an in-app purchase, is handled entirely by Google Play Services, and all the personal information required for the payment is collected and stored by them. We only receive anonymized, non-personal information regarding your purchase, so that we can grant you the paid version of the app.

The application requires the BODY_SENSORS permission to be able to detect when the watch is worn. This is done via a sensor on the watch that informs the app when the watch is worn. This information is useful to the app if you selected that you want to receive custom notifications on the watch only when it’s worn.

Disclosure of collected information

We may disclose voluntarily provided and automatically collected information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with third-party services for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services, including (without limitation) IT service providers, data storage, hosting and service providers, ad networks, analytics, error loggers, maintenance and problem-solving providers, professional advisors and payment systems operators.

Opt-out rights

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
